I'm just your average Mom & Wife,
who leads a fabulously crazy life.
I do a million & 1 things during the day,
and try like heck to blog about them!

My Tiffany-themed Bday party!

This post took place last year, back in October.
This is the continuation of my Birthday celebration,
down at our time share, in San Clemente, CA
We had some of our closest friends come down to celebrate with us.
We all enjoyed this little party that I put together,
before we headed to the restaurant on the pier.

I created this entire party!
I love, love, love everything about Tiffany & Co.
So naturally, I wanted my special day to reflect that.

Every party needs beautiful cookies!
I had these made especially for me.
Pretty, right?

I wrapped all the plasticware in napkins, and added cute,
decorative napkin rings.

I made these darling cupcake toppers!

Another picture of my special, Tiffany themed toppers.

Shrimp cocktail...

Crackers & dip...

Crackers & cheese

A delicous, oriental chicken salad,
and some marshmallow pops I dipped.

One of my favorite parties so far!

Here's another view of my party table.
Look at the gorgeous Ocean, in the background!!
This was seriously, the best day ever : )

This was my Birthday cake!
My wonderful friend, Cheryl made this all by herself.
Now mind you, this was her FIRST time ever using fondant!!
I was SO surprised when she brought this over, and surprised me!
I've got the bestest friend in the whole, wide world!

Irvine Park Railroad

Halloween has come, and gone.
In fact, that was SO last year. Literally!
This is another post that I didn't get around to posting.
I apologize for my lateness...

Nina, and her girl scout troop headed over to
Irvine park railroad in Irvine, CA
We kicked off the fall season with a
fun-filled day at the pumpkin patch!

The girls were ready to head into the hay maze!

Nina & I stopped to take a picture.
All of us were having so much fun!

Jordan took lots of pictures like this while we were there.
I thought he made a very cute Frankenstein!

Melanie, Natalie, my daughter Nina, and Vanessa were about to
head into the haunted house for a little scary fun!

I just LOVE this picture!
Jordan made a cute kitty, and Nina a darling witch.

Vanessa, Nina, and Bethanie were enjoying their day!
Aren't they adorable?

Genie, Nina, and Natalie

A cute little pony/hay ride.

Some of the girl scouts were waving to the people on the train.

We all took a lunch break, before heading out for more fun.

Nina's troop leader Yvonne, Co-leader Alex, and myself.

The girls had their tickets, and they were anxiously waiting their turn
for the train ride around the park.

Jordan was enjoying his first train ride, very much!
I think his smile says it all.

This was the last picture of the day!
So much fun at Irvine park railroad -
they offer so much fun for the kids.
We can't wait to go back again!

Birthday weekend in San Clemente! {last October}

This is how far behind I am in posting on my blog...
Last year I uploaded all of these pictures, with the intention of
posting about our fun weekend.
Here we are in February of 2012 - this was from October of 2011!
I'll do my best at trying to remember all the details. LOL

This is beautiful San Clemente, CA {last October}
We have a time share, and we go out to visit for a week.
Our week just so happened to be during my Birthday!
I took time off of work, and invited some of our friends to
come down and help us celebrate my Birthday!

This picture was taken from our balcony.
The weather was gorgeous.

Another balcony shot, and a beautiful sunset.

This would be Jordan's 2nd time coming out with us.
He was only 2 months old when we last came here.
He really had a great time, as did all of us!
Here we are stopping for a pic on the pier.
We don't always dress color coordinated for a casual stroll.
We were dressed for my Birthday dinner reservations, later that evening.

My baby girl, and me.

There's Danny & the baby, enjoying their people watching.

After our walk, a few more of our friends arrived for my celebration!
There's nothing like having great company, and great friends.

Lisa, Cheryl, and Myrna ~ the 3 best friends a girl could have!
I was so happy they came out to meet us for my Birthday.

Daddy & Jordan were checking out the view from our balcony.

I wanted my birthday dinner at Fisherman's restaurant!
We made reservations, but still had to wait a long time.
I didn't mind because I wanted to be eating dinner, with my friends,
and wonderful family, eating to my heart's content, and watching the sun set.
And lucky me... I got to do all of that!!

We had a big group join us for dinner, so we had to sit
at two different tables.
I loved this pictures of my daughter.

Our friends Greg & Lisa

My nearest & dearest friend, Cheryl & her hubby Ray

A pretty view of where we were sitting.

My clam chowder!
I'm not joking when I say this was the most delicious bowl of soup
I've ever tasted!

I feasted on steak, veggies, and rice.
So delish!

My Birthday ice cream cake!
One of my friends told our waiter that it was my Birthday.
Everyone sang to me - it was great!
A wonderful dining experience, with wonderful friends & family!

Nina's 11th Glam Party!

So here we are, at the end of another month!
Another party came, and went.
Nina's 11th Birthday was a HUGE success!
This was such a fun party to plan ~
I really enjoyed all the projects that led up to her big night!

Nina had 19 fabulous little ladies attend her party!
They danced, giggled, and slept out in tents, in the backyard.
It was a great night, and Nina had the best time!
I was exhausted, but all that was pushed aside when she told me that
her friends were talking about how fabulous her party was, for days!

Just to recap from a previous post...
This was her Birthday party invitation - so glam!
All of her little friends were SO excited when they received them!

I did a mini photo shoot before her party.
The pictures turned out SO fabulous!
A few were displayed, in black & white, on her party table.

Remember that old chandelier I had in a previous post?
Well, here is a picture of the finished product!
I was so pleased with my project ~ black spray paint, zebra duck tape,
and feathers transformed this trash, into a treasure.
Nina loved it so much, that we're hanging it in her bedroom!

This 3 way mirror completed the glam patio. I knew the girls would love it!
This mirror is from Nina's room. I found it at a yard sale for $10
{I couldn't pass it up!}
It came in very handy for her glam party!

Look at this fabulous cupcake holder! I thought this looked oh-so-glam.
It displayed Nina's cupcakes beautifully!
Thank you for letting me borrow this, Arlene : )

I also added a few candle pillars, that served as cupcake stands.
I hand painted them black, and added pearls & ribbon.
Super cute, don't you think?!
All the cupcake toppers were custom made by me.

I made some water bottle labels.
They just make a plain bottle of water look, well... fabulous!
Liquid glitter for the girlies to drink.

We ordered these beautiful custom cookies from Sugar Expressions
{You really need to check them out}
Let me just say, they did an amazing job!
Nina had the best time picking out what she wanted.
Nina played an active role in designing her cookies during the consultation.
Sadly, my pictures don't do them any justice!
They wrapped each cookie in a celo bag w/ribbon, and a cute tag!

Here is Nina's dessert table!
Everything was fabulously displayed on
the old painted hutch that I transformed a few weeks prior!

These are the glam baskets that were waiting for each girl!
They loved them!
The glow bracelets came in handy that night.
I also created the name tags for each guest!

I had a mini glam station set up for the girlies ~
Complete w/nail polish, make up, mirrors, and make up remover.

The party guests had LOTS of fun getting glammed out!
Here they're putting on make up, and nail polish ~
They were all getting ready for the dance party!

Here's a picture of my glammed out patio before the guests arrived!
I got so many compliments on the transformation!
All the girlies were in awe as they walked into Nina's glam lounge!

At the drink station, there were plastic martini glasses set out for them.
The had fun drinking orange soda & punch.
I was careful to not serve anything with caffeine!

Here's a group shot of some of the party guests.
All of them were such a joy to have!
They loved to giggle & dance.

After dinner {Nina had a taco bar & pizza} the girls went night swimming!
It took several of them a while to feel safe in the pool.
They were convinced that sharks were swimming in there!

When they were done swimming, they feasted a bit more on popcorn & candy,
and then picked their spots for an outdoor movie!
We set up the projector for the girls - they loved it!
I hope you enjoyed reading about Nina's glam party,
half as much as I loved planning it!
...until my next event : )
